Showcase visitors witness firsthand how standards-based transactions bring clinical information from multiple care settings and systems together. Global Initiatives - HIMSS Interoperability Showcases are hosted around the world, focusing on regional health information exchange issues. Each year, HIMSS partners with Health IT vendors and standards organizations to deliver the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase at the HIMSS annual conference in the United States, eHealth Week in Europe, and the HIMSS AsiaPac conference.
